The VMEbus parallel link repeater line consists of three products:VMIVME-RepeatL-XX, a high-performance, 32-bit link, which supports 32-bitaddressing and all VMEbus interrupts; VMIVME-RepeatL-485-XX, which isdesigned with long-line (RS-422) differential drivers and receivers forremoting VMEbus chassis from a workstation; and VMIVME-RepeatL-485/32,which may be used to multidrop one workstation to up to 31 repeatedchassis that share a single parallel, 32-bit data link. These busrepeaters use VMEbus slave boards in the repeated chassis assembly.VMIC's fiber-optic Repeater Link is a high-performance, yet easy-to-usemethod of linking two or more VMEbus systems together through fiber-opticcable. Its advantages include small cables, high noise immunity, highvoltage isolation, and no cable-generated EMI.VMIVME-5510L-XX is for systems requiring external VMEbus connections thatsupport VMEbus masters and slaves in the external VMEbus chassis.
